On Tuesday we were invited to Tigerlily in Edinburgh to try out their new ‘Tiger Tea Party’. Tigerlily was already one of my favourite places for cocktails so I was so looking forward to this! It had however been a good couple of years since I had last been, the decor had changed & as gorgeous as it was before, I loved it even more. I am a sucker for anything floral so it was like a dream for me!! I have about 500 pictures on my phone of said flowers….
The tea party took place within their Georgian Lounge in front of the open fire, which was beautiful and cosy. Although it is between the restaurant & main bar, it felt very private & comfortable.

The spread includes a range of sandwiches, a parmesan & sundried tomato tart, fruit scone with clotted cream & jam, salted caramel cupcakes, eclairs, pina colada macaroons & more… all of which were delicious & between all of us bloggers, we managed to get through the lot! The tea party was accompanied by Royal Earl Grey tea & a Raspberry Mule cocktail, along with an Elderflower fizz as a non-alcoholic option.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover how baby friendly Tigerlily is. Personally, I would never have thought of going as a family but with kids being more than welcome & allowed on the premises til 8pm, we will definitely be making the trip back the three of us at some point.
I hope this hasn’t made you all too hungry….
