macaroni cheese

Not the healthiest meal but too good not to have once in a while! Freezes well too so good to keep for emergencies.

  1. 500g dried macaroni
  2. 200g grated chedder cheese
  3. 100g grated parmasan
  4. 200g crème fraîche
  5. fresh/dried pasley
  6. black pepper
  1. Boil the macaroni.
  2. Meanwhile put all the cheese into a pot and melt.
  3. Once the cheese is melted take off the heat and add in the crème fraîche and parsley.
  4. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and mix the sauce in.
  5. Season then pour into an oven proof dish.
  6. Grill til golden on top.
  7. Serve!
  1. A spoon of wholegrain mustard is a good extra, so is mushrooms, sweetcorn or crispy bacon!
